Rest in Peace My Grumpy Old Uncle

Yesterday my Mommy and Me went to go visit my Uncle Mugsy because he wasn't doing very well. He didn't want to stand and was breathing heavy. When Mom got there she held Mugsy and within an hour he passed away in her arms.

Even though it was sad and everybody's eyes were leaking, he waited for my Mommy (his Mommy/Sister/Best Friend) to come and then he went comfortably to sleep without any help except for nature.

Mugsy, you were one of Mommy's two first babies and she will always love you so very much. Thanks for leading the way for her when she needed a friend and having soft fluffy fur for her to snuggle when she was sad. Even though you were a grumpy stubborn old man, you were the best toe warmer around. You will be greatly missed.

Ruff Ruff!!

Me and Mommy Angie have been VERY lazy lately and I haven't gotten to use her computer in FOREVER (the silly-face got the new Sims 3 Ambitions game and is a computer hog).

BUT We're going to try to get back in the game in the next week because boy to we have some updates. I got what Mommy calls the "SnipSnip" on Friday... I'm already running and jumping around (even though my moms try to stop me from doing that, ugh).

I also went to my first bar, Kelly's Pub, the next night... don't worry, I don't come out of my bag, I just go sweepy sweepy.

My mommy's made my Halloween costume... but that's a surprise until Halloween Day... =] They sewed and hot-glue-gunned the whole thing out of felt... and googly eyes. And all three of us are sorta matchy... we're all from the same movie! It's really cutey-to-bootey!!

Oh, and I got taller and buffer (well, mom says I gained weight, but I think "muscle" is more accurate) and my hairs are growing really long! Mom says that I still look and act like a puppy though!

I go to almost every class with mom in my bag and one of her professors even knows I'm there but doesn't care and plays with me afterwards! AND! Everyone on campus knows me or sees me around, mom thinks its so funny when people come up to her and know my name and she doesn't even know who they are because she introduces me to everyone who sees me but doesn't always catch their names!

I will make mommy get some new pictures up soon! Sorry for being lazy!

SUPER SLEEPOVER PARTY TONIGHT!!!

My Mommy Angie invited THREE doggies to sleepover tonight... and one human boy. My Uncle Cenzo (human, pft) is coming to stay and along with him are my two PUGGY uncles Jacob and Mugsy and my PITTY cousin Rogue!!!

Mom's going to get some pictures of all of us playing... she got some fake piggy ears and a new big bed for my Uncle Puggies (theirs got all torn-uppy) and I got to lay on the bed first... even though they get to take it home with them.

Vet Today

The vet was mean and nasty today, she had to stick me in both my butt cheeks so I could get the rest of my shots. But I cried like really louddddd because it hurt SO much!

Mom has to do homework (yuck!) but we're just hopping on to say that I turned four months old yesterday, and today I weigh 4lbs 11oz!! I got a whole pound and a half heavier in one month!!

My mommas say that I have to get the "snip snip" soon... they say it will make me less bitey and maybe stop me from doing the humpdee dumpdee on my new Puggy toy... but I just REALLLLLLLY love my Puggy!!

What do you guys think of the "snip snip"? I don't think I like the sound of it... is it bad?! Will I be hurting for days after? Does it really change me? Will I not want to bite so much? I'm nervous and so are my moms!

Mom said she's going to do a fashion show of me in all my clothes because I have two new hoodies and a new winter coat and a lot of other clothes that there are no pictures of me wearing!

My moms planned a weekend vacation before I was even born... but I was still a little bit upset that I didn't get to go see this so-called thing called a "beach". BUT my Auntie (and God Mother) Jess and her sisters Kelly and Mallory came to stay at our condo and I got to play with them ALLLL weekend! We had so much fun!

My First College Class

Mfff Nfff Shniffffffff!!

Oh, well, hi there!

Today I went to class with my mommy! She rollerbladed to class and I got to ride (BOL I'm a lazy booty) in my bag while she did all the work!

I'm kind of a little tiny bit lazy...

We first went to the library because my moms need another parking space in our parking lot here at our condo so mommy typed up a sheet to hang in our laundry room asking for anyone willing to rent. Oh, and she had to print out stuff for our, ahem I mean her class.

Me and Mommy Angie were taking a nap and Mama Tia snuck up on us.

Then after we were done in the library (I had to hide in my bag) I got to walk through puddles in my pink and brown sweater (real men wear pink) which was supposed to keep me dry. That didn't work. My moms say I'm getting a raincoat soon. Everyone likes to stop and pet me and say "Oh my gosh!" and "So cute!" and mom says I don't need the boost to my ego... because I know I am sooooo swaggerific!!

Mom says, "Find the Dougie!!"

Since my paws got all gross and wet mommy brought me into her building (hidden in my bag) and into the ladies room (she said I had to go, but I wanted to go in the MAN room) and she washed my paws in the sink (with people staring and giggling) and dried them under the hand dryer (which I am not a fan of... too loud)!

Just chillin with my homies!!

Then we were off to class! I kind of got a little restless and was poking around and digging in my bag. I know I'm not supposed to, but I wanted to anyway. Mom gave me treats, which is exactly my plan and she fell for it, silly mommy. After I got my treats the profuzzer got there and started teaching. That's when it got boring... he just kept talking about something like glo-ball-ization and all I heard was "ball" "ball" "BALL"! Then when I realized I wasn't getting my ball I just decided to nap.

Cards are boring...

All-in-all I think that maybe I'll go with mom to her classes because I have to, but I'm not sure whether I'll be getting any college-smarter... that stuff can be mighty boring.

Yeah, be jealous, I rode a turtle. Mhm.

Mom said I should say thanks to everyone for reading my ramblings... she thinks I like to hear myself talk, but really I just think my life is so fun sometimes and my moms love me so much that I should tell everyone about it!

We were hanging out and watching Kikopup (the most amazing-est trainer/video-maker ever) and I got tired because we watched the same one 124907709 times because it's my Auntie Zoe's favorite one so I fell asleep.

Just popping in to say hello!

Mom thought I should tell everyone that I finally started barking at people and dogs and things... my mommies don't really like it... at all. But when they tell me to stop, I usually do. They want to know if anyone else barks at people and if your moms or dads found a way to get you to stop. I think they're going to have a tough time getting me to stop because I just LOVE getting attention when I bark! BOL!

I went over to my grandparents' house today and saw my Uncle Jake. He looks kind of silly, but mom says I shouldn't say that because it's not nice. He's okay though, so I don't think it matters. He's a pug so he's already funny looking (BOL) but my mom says that's part of his charm. I just think his cone on his head is silly looking. He's going to the vet again today to have the stitches taken out, then his eye will stay closed and get better.

I went out to lunch with my moms and my Grandma Jean and I got to have bacon in my bag. Mommy saw her old high school principal and we said hi... well they said hi, he didn't know I was hiding in the restaurant in my bag!

I'm going to take a nap now!

Working Out then Laying in the Sun

Mama got a new work out thingie, so of course I had to try it out!

I had to hold on soooo tight and PULL myself into the air!

I wanted to sniff the camera... =] woof!

Mom said I'm getting sooooo super-dee-duper tall!! I can even jump onto the bed now.

Then I was ready to relax in the sun... that pull-up was a lot of work.

Mommy Angie thought I was so cute...

...because I wanted to be right in a little strip of sun.

Look! Mommy says I have a Chihuahua face in this picture! I really am a ChiChi and not a miniature Border Collie! I swear!!

Vetty Visit and Neighbors... oh and a Walkie!

Nff! RUUUUFFFFF!!!

I forgot to tell everyone, when I went to the vet two weeks ago I found out I had a yeast infection in my left ear and a stye on my right eye! I got medicine for both of those and now they are both ALLLLL gone! I have just one more visit for shots (I didn't even cry once for my last shot!) and then mom said I get "the surgery". I don't really know what that means but I don't think I like the sound of it... oh well.

Today I got to play with the neighbor dogs for a whole hour! There's a Sheltie named Fred and a Black Lab/Pit/Great Dane mix named Bruce. They both loved me sooooo much! I liked them too but after about twenty minutes I crawled into my mommy's lap and kind of stayed away from them... I wasn't scared! I'm no fraidy cat! I just wanted to snuggle... yeah, snuggle. But I was so sad to hear that they are moving in two weeks! I don't even get to play with them enough!

Oh, Mommy Angie also took me on a walkie today! It was our first time going on the prairie path by our house! It was so much fun to sniff everything! And I got to drink out of the doggy-water-fountain!!! Mommy's going to take a picture of it to put on here. We think there should be one on every corner!!!

Please Hope Well for my Puggy Uncle Jake

Snfffff Snffffff

My Uncle Jake, the cutie-est-cutie puggy around, got pneumonia a few weeks ago. My mommy and my grandparents (Mommy Angie's mom and daddy) took very good care of him. He wouldn't eat for a very long time, so he got hypoglycemic. Then he wouldn't drink water either. He went to the doggy doctor and got medicine to make him better... that took a long time and my Mommy was very sad and teary and nervous that he wouldn't get better.

Then her Daddy (Grandpa Pat) was reading online and found out that he could give Jakey-Poo maple syrup to get his blood sugar up. My mommy and Grandpa Pat fed Jake with a turkey baster a mix of water and maple syrup until he was strong enough to eat Gerber baby food and eventually mashed up dry dog food with water on it.

Now Jake is eating and drinking on his own (after a two week long struggle)...

...but during the time that his body (and immune system) were weak, he got a cut in his eye. The next day he went to the vet (again) and she said he got an ulcer in his eye from a deep gash (which no one ever knew he even got).

Jacob got drops and medicine for his eye, but now the vet said he will have to have his eye removed. Next week my Uncle Jacob is having surgery to remove his poor eye. Keep him in your thoughts and keep your paws crossed please!

Nnnnfff!!

For my Mama's birthday my Mommy threw her a super surprise party! All of Mama's family and friends came over and we got all new furniture for our living room... I got to help put everything together! My moms took things out of boxes and I chewed the boxes! My mommies took nails out of bags, I took the bags, and they chased me! It was soooo fun! And now I have a comfy futon allllll to myself!

Actually, I'm snuggling my mommy on the futon while we write this together!

My mommies found out that I am a very protective boy. I like to watch everything that is happening, especially while we go nyny. Last night the windows were open because it was nice out, but I couldn't fall asleep because I heard sirens and the curtains blew around and there were cars driving by on the street outside the window. I don't really bark, I mean I give one or two yips a day at most, but when I don't know what something is I stare out the window and won't lay down, just sit and stare. My mommies think it's cute and they say, "what are you gonna do about it?" But I am just making sure my mommies are safe.

Speaking of my barking... my mommies are so proud of me for being such a good listener. When I lived with my mommies at Auntie Zoe's house (she's four years old) I almost never barked. It was soooo funny when my Auntie Zoe was over at our new house and heard me bark for the first time... she said, "Wow! He learned how to bark?!" But she's silly, I already knew how to bark!

Oh yeah, I also learned a lot of new tricks! I was born May 14, 2010, so I am three months and four days old. My mommy said I should remind everyone of that so that people know how cool it is that I know how to do all of these tricks... I know how to: sit, give paw, high five, lay down, roll over both ways, and spin both ways. I also know my name (mom says FINALLY!) and I'm slowly learning how to come when I'm called... really I just like doing my own thing and don't like to be bothered so I ignore my mommies!

We met our new neighbors! We live in a condo building now, so we have lottttts of neighbors! Next door to us are two nice girls named Rachel and Leona and one of their boyfriends named Sam. And then two doors down is a nice lady who's name we don't know and her two and a half year old son. We're sad that she's moving at the end of August!

Mom is going to take a video of me doing all of my new tricks so she can show everyone how smart I am, but that will have to wait until after my nap because I'm pooped!

I have had a CRAZy past couple of weeks with my mommies... we painted our new condo, moved in, had lots of family and friends over, and on Saturday my Mommy Angie threw a SURPRISE 21st BIRTHDAY PARTY for my Mama Tia!!!

I will have to put up pictures and update everything sometime soon... for now Mommy and I are in need of a breather... we can only use ETHERNET (blegh!) so I want to nap while she tries to make the airport and lynksis work...

Oh, and I got an award from Maggie Mae!!

Nffff-Nfff!!

Mommy said to say sorry that she's been kind of lazy and hasn't been helping me post on my bloggie for a couple of days besides those pictures. We've been watching a lot of NCIS and Law and Order...

My favorite is Abby!!! She's so spunky!!

On Monday I got to go to work with my Mommy! And I got to go again yesterday! She works at a church rectory as a secretary... but the pastor has a doggy that doesn't really like other pups so she got to take me to play over at the kid's summer camp!

I got to meet her brothers, my Uncle Tony and Uncle Cenzo! Uncle Tony had a big bushy thing on his face and I loved to digdigdig in it! Mom called it a beard! Whatever it was I loved to chew at it and tug on it and swipe at it! My Uncle Tony was so much fun to play with! He's not always very nice though... he is prejudiced against Chihuahuas. He said I will be an "annoying little yapper" and he said I would probably be an "ankle biter" when I get bigger... I thought that was so mean and it hurt my feelings... but then later he said to me "maybe you won't be so bad little guy" and my mommy said that from my Uncle Tony, that's closer to a compliment than she's ever heard him say!

Uncle Tony even took a lot of pictures of me and put them on his Facebook... this one was when me and Mommy showed that I already know how to sit (and I know how to lay down and roll onto my back)! My Uncle was amazed because he didn't try to teach his pup how to do those things right away, so he didn't think such a little pup could do tricks already!

My other Uncle, Cenzo had a comfy tumtum for me to sleep on! I slept on him for hours! He was so much fun too!

I also got to go to the kids pool! I didn't go in though because it's a human kid pool and mommy wouldn't put me in a big deep scary pool unless she was going in with me and could hold me! That's what she said, at least!

Then after work with my Mommy Angie I got to go meet my Uncle Tony's pup!!! I was really scared of my Aunties Chelli and Marty, but Mommy told my cousin Rogue, "Over!" and she flopped down onto her back and put her paws up. Rogie-Pogie is a pittie and Mommy says she super dee duper smart. Mommy taught her that Over trick! After she rolled over Mommy put me down and I got scared and barked a tiny yipp but then after a few minutes I was jumping all over her and playing with her and she was so much fun!

I also met my uncle puggers, Jacob and Mugsy. They are Mommy Angie's fur-brothers! She loves them sooooo much and so do I! Jacob is a little sick right now, Mommy thinks he might be depressed because she doesn't live with him anymore, so send out some lovings to him please!

Then on Tuesday my Uncle Matt watched me and played with me for a few hours while my Mama Tia went to work. My mommies were so proud of me because I went pee pee on my pad without my uncle even having to remind me! They were soooooo happy!!

I played with my mommies the rest of the night!

Then yesterday, Wednesday, I got to go play again with my Mommy Angie and the kids at the summer camp! They all loveeeee me! And after work I got to play with Rogie-Pogie again!! She's so much fun! She helped me find crumbs under the kitchen cabinets and she nuzzled me around my grandparents' house!

Oh yeah! I met my Grand Parents (Grandma Jean and Poppa Pat). Poppa Pat is kind of angry with my Mommy Angie for taking me home... he thinks she has too much on her plate because we are moving and she is starting back to school soon and has to get another job... but he forgets that Mama Tia will be there to help raise me too! Silly Poppa Pat! Grandma Jean loved me... she said when I run it's so cute!

I snuggled up and fell asleep in Mommy Angie's arms on our drive home from Grandma and Poppa's house.

Then last night I got to go take more stuff to the condo with my mommies and then I got to run around and around and around and around and AROUND some more! I love running there! It's squishy carpet under my toes instead of wood so I don't slip 'n slide!

What can I say? I like to sleep... I was sleeping on the drive to the condo!

I snuggled my mommies alllll night and then today Mommy Angie went to work and I got to go play at the condo with Mama and Uncle Matt and his friend... we went in his friend's biggggg truck because our mattress fit in there and I was a little scared because it was really super dee dooper windy in that truck!

I am napping now, but later I get to run around and play with my mommies!!
